Independent battery service

Repair begins with diagnosis.

A battery that will not charge, shuts down under load or appears completely dead does not always need the same solution. ProCharge evaluates the pack, its electronics, physical condition and application before determining whether repair makes sense.

Active service

Power-tool battery repair

ProCharge specializes in failed cordless-tool battery packs and aftermarket battery development. Common inquiries include batteries that no longer charge, deliver very short runtime, cut out under load, show error indications or are no longer economical to replace through the original channel.

Common platforms

  • Milwaukee M12 / M18 and related platforms
  • DEWALT 12V / 20V MAX and related platforms
  • Makita 12V / 18V / 40V platform inquiries
  • Ryobi, RIDGID, Bosch, Craftsman and others

What may be evaluated

  • Pack condition and reported symptoms
  • Repair feasibility
  • Cell-group imbalance or degradation indicators
  • Protection/electronics issues where appropriate

Specific repairability depends on the pack design and condition. Brand names identify battery platforms only; ProCharge is independent and not affiliated with the manufacturers listed.

Expanding program

E-bike & e-scooter battery systems

Personal electric mobility is one of ProCharge's fastest-growing development areas. The current focus is on battery evaluation, repair feasibility and replacement-pack development for systems where the original battery is unavailable, cost-prohibitive or no longer performing correctly.

  • E-bike battery evaluation and repair inquiries
  • E-scooter battery evaluation and repair inquiries
  • Custom replacement concepts for difficult-to-source packs
  • Application-specific development where technically appropriate
Important: Not every damaged mobility battery is safe or economical to repair. Packs with fire, water, impact or severe heat exposure may need to be rejected from service.
How it works

Evaluation before commitment

01

Describe

Share the brand, model, voltage, symptoms and what happened before the failure.

02

Screen

ProCharge determines whether the pack is appropriate to inspect and how it should be handled.

03

Evaluate

The pack is assessed for repair feasibility, replacement options or development potential.

04

Decide

You receive a practical next-step recommendation before substantive repair or development work.

Safety first

Do not ship a severely damaged lithium battery without instructions.

Lithium batteries can present fire and thermal-runaway hazards. Contact ProCharge before transporting or shipping any pack that is swollen, crushed, punctured, wet, burned, leaking, unusually hot, smoking or otherwise seriously damaged. Do not attempt to disassemble the pack yourself.
